Master Bedroom Refresh
Shop my Master bedroom here !!
Amazon Comforter - $30 & tons of color options !! I ordered the color “dark green”
Throw Pillows - These pillow covers are from Woven Nook. I ordered the 22'‘ x 22'“ and the oversized lumbar pillow covers, there are so many fun combos you could keep the same comforter and switch out your pillows for a completely different look!
Cozy Knit Throw - this is the casaluna knit throw from target. I found this “dupe” from amazon that looks identical!
Tan Quilt - mine is so old they no longer make it but I have linked a similar one here!
White Sheets - can’t go wrong with white sheets, love these.
Gold Frames - I found some prints that I liked from etsy and then had them printed and put in these frames from amazon! I have found that printing art and framing it myself is often much cheaper than buying print from a store!
Prints in Frames - Digital download and then I printed them at a local print shop!
Reading Lights - I’m obsessed with these vintage lights that I ordered from amazon. I will have to do a blog post about how I installed them. They add so much character to my bedroom!!
Arched Mirror - Love adding a floor mirror to my room, it makes the room feel so much bigger!
Curtains - So basic. So good.
BEFORE
AFTER
Going into fall, my master bedroom was feeling like it needed a refresh. I have had a white duvet on my bed for years and while I love the look of white bedding, it wasn’t practical with 2 little kids and it also didn’t feel very cozy! I also paid a ridiculous amount of money for the duvet so wanted something a little more affordable.
When I found this comforter from Amazon, I immediately fell in love with the color, the comfort & the fact that I can throw the whole thing in the washer and I don’t have to take off a duvet cover every single time my 2 year old has messy hands and runs and jumps on my bed!
Once I had the comforter, the rest of the bedding came together easily by adding a few new pillow covers, and the cozy knit throw at the bottom of the bed. By folding down the comforter and adding another blanket and the knit throw at the bottom of the bed, I feel like it gave the bed more textures and overall a more cozy look vs just having 1 duvet cover on the whole bed.
Next up I want to add some faux ceiling beams to add even more character to my bedroom!
